Equal measure for me. A spanker pulling the undies down is certainly taking control but a spankee being told to pull theirs down is likely to feel added embarrassment.

As both a top and a *ahem* connoisseur of fine lingerie, can I just point out that I select the panties my bottom wears before I start and as often as not they don't come off at all.

Depends on the person I'm playing with, which I feel will be the most embarrassing for them

After a gentle “ warm up” spanking on the knickers I like to slowly lower them to unveil the target for the remainder of the spanking. But if my spankee prefers to lower her own knickers, I am very happy with that.
