Joined this morning and have been using chat but it now tells me it doesn’t recognise login details.

Any advice?

I don't know why it is doing that. It has happened before, however, and is not permanent. Try logging in as a guest, then later on try your username a d password. Failing that pm me and I'll try to fix it at this end.

I always manage to log onto the site successfully and post but when I try to go into chat it tells me my details are incorrect.

Nice site, Dai, great effort by you but teething troubles are probably inevitable.

I'm thinking of changing the chat program. Hopefully that will resolve the issue as it seems to be a problem for quite a few people. It might take a couple of days.

Congratulations on setting up this site Dai. I feel "welsome" already.
Just clicked on the donate button and it said: "You are not authorised to access this area."
But I ain't complaining. There will always be a few gremlins at first.
We are just grateful that you have taken the bull by horns and done the hard graft to get it up and running

Thank you Mentor. Welsome indeed. The Donate button is a temperamental beast. It works for some and not others. You could try it after logging out, but people have sid they can't log back in! Working on it. Onwards and upwards.

And I've just kicked myself out of chat and can't get back in!

I've already said "Hi" and thanked you in chat, Dai, but I'd like to repeat it here. Am very very grateful to you and all those that have helped make this revival possible.

Regarding the occasional inability to go back into chat once you've left, I found that when it said my username and password weren't recognised, if I left the password field empty then I got back in successfully.

Possibly it's not clearing down the password field internally after each use? So it's always there, invisibly, once you've put it in once...
