What to wear: Pub wear upstairs; your choice downstairs

Workers Playtime is a long-established playmunch for spanking and bdsm, with some attendees still coming after 10 years or more – so we must be doing something right. We run as a social event from 2 p.m., with the private space downstairs open from 3.15 p.m. The pub itself stays open full pub hours, till 11, with food served. There might be 30 - 45 people who attend, from all sorts of backgrounds. Please buy food and drinks in Central Station to support the pub - this is a free event.

Things usually wind down for us before 7 p.m., though play sometimes continues till 7 or just past. Also, many regulars stay on to eat and socialize. We usually start at a table near the door, and a toy cat will be displayed. If you can’t see us, check in with the bar staff, but please be discreet. Crew have little plastic badges.

Central Station is a clean and civilized Kings Cross pub. The cellar, our Private Event (please note), is usually open from 3.15 or so. You should be on fetlife and already know what the bdsm rules of politeness are, before you meet us and ask to go downstairs. Please don’t DEMAND entrance, and don’t hassle the crew to open up for your convenience; ask. WP has no connection with other events at the pub, and on the whole swingers, and anyone pushy is urged to go elsewhere. Our event is a safe space and will stay that way. Regulars and crew are usually happy to give a few encouraging words to newcomers, though you should be prepared to introduce yourself. Just be polite and friendly, and please give people space; we all have the right not to be forced into conversations or hugs.

You will see notices about our event downstairs being ‘Private’, and the playroom rules. PLEASE NOTE. (No pics without permission.) You might see people having serious fun, but they could be couples who have been together for 10 years. People having fun is not an open invite to you. Ask – we trust our regulars – but don’t hassle.

HEALTH
We are all hoping there will be no more epidemics of covid or flu, but if you think you are coming down with something please postpone your trip! Workers has been running for over 10 years and will still be there when you are in good health again.

I am looking forward to seeing my friends there this Wednesday the 31st of May for a sociable afternoon, maybe some play, but most of all, good conversation with long-standing as well as hopefully, new friends.

Unfortunately, I have to go elsewhere first, so I can't bring my toy bag with me this time
